J-PAL Africa is excited to announce that Patrizio Piraino, a SALDRU Research Associate, has been selected as a J-PAL affiliate. J-PAL affiliates are professors based at 52 universities around the world who conduct randomized evaluations to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty, and publish the results of these evaluations in high-quality economics journals. They work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.
