Saldrupians Patrizio Piraino and Rocco Zizzamia travelled to Nairobi at the end of January to attend and present at a joint International Labour Organisation/International Development Research Centre/African Economic Research Consortium workshop on youth unemployment in sub-Saharan Africa. The theme of the workshop was “Boosting decent employment for Africa’s youth”, and brought together researchers, policymakers and practitioners from across the continent.
