Earlier this month, Andrew Donaldson was interviewed by Cape Talk’s Lester Kiewit during his breakfast show Good Morning Cape Town. The two discussed some examples of who might be considered to be middle class in South Africa. They then also discuss the SALDRU income comparison tool and how some people on the upper end of the distribution of income in South Africa, do not realise that they actually are, until they use this tool.
