In this article for The Conversation, Joshua Budlender and Ihsaan Bassier explain how they evaluated the economic stimulus effects of the BEEI, resulting from the spending of participants of the programme, and some of the findings from this research. These findings include that the programme likely does support broader economic activity, and that these effects partly persist after the end of the programme. Read the article.
