UCT has launched the African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research (ACEIR), under the banner of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA).
Housed at UCT, under the direction of SALDRU’s Professor Murray Leibbrandt, the centre will mobilise top African experts on inequality and bring them together for research and teaching purposes.
The Centre will work in full collaboration with two other hubs situated at the University of Ghana and the University of Nairobi.
