Demand for Tertiary Education in South Africa since 2000

Objectives

This project was undertaken for CHET Trust. The major aim of this research project was to see what South African household surveys have to tell us about the choices that the matriculants have made since 2000 in terms of entering the labour market versus entering into some tertiary option. A report entitled “Who benefits from tertiary education?” was submitted in August 2009.
