Kim is a senior research analyst in SALDRU. She compiles the monthly SALDRU newsletter, maintains the SALDRU website and works with data collection projects.
Kim has worked on several projects run in SALDRU. She co-headed data collection and data quality on the COVID-19 Vaccine Survey (CVACS) and the National Income Dynamics Study – Coronavirus Rapid Mobile Survey (NIDS-CRAM). Before this she also worked on two other surveys in SALDRU: the National Income Dynamics Study (NIDS) and the Land Restitution Evaluation Study (LRES); and a higher-education-focused project in SALDRU, Siyaphambili. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Cape Town.
