Lulama is a Survey Assistant in the SALDRU Survey and Data Hub.
Lulama first joined SALDRU on the National Income Dynamics Study (NIDS), where she gained experience being a mentor of fieldworkers, and visiting respondents with them while conducting data collection in various provinces. Able to speak multiple languages, Lulama also spoke to respondents of different languages via the phone, did translations work and data capturing. She then worked on the Land Restitution Evaluation Study (LRES) where she captured and verified data. Lulama also did translation work on the NIDS-CRAM project in SALDRU.
