Rocco Zizzamia

Rocco is a Research Officer at SALDRU. He began working at SALDRU as a researcher in January 2016. While he took some time off to pursue further studies in the UK, he remained affiliated to SALDRU during this time. In July 2018 he obtained his MPhil (Development Studies) from the University of Oxford. He also holds a BA (Hons) in Economic History from the University of Cape Town. His research interests include the study of poverty and poverty dynamics, labour economics, economic inequality, and the use of mixed methods. His previous experience includes consulting work for the World Bank (2017 and 2018).
