Wim Louw is a Research Manager at J-PAL Africa. Wim currently works on projects in youth employment, and education. Wim has been with J-PAL Africa since 2016.
Prior to the Research Manager role, Wim worked as a Research Associate, and then Senior Research Associate, where he focused on signaling mechanisms in active labour markets in Johannesburg, South Africa. Before joining J-PAL, Wim worked as a researcher in the South African non-profit sector.
Wim holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Social Research Methods, and from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Linguistics.
